1. Travel & Departure

• Q: What are the travel dates?
A: Travel dates will be between 7th to 19th November and 1st to 13th November 2025,
across different groups.

• Q: Can I customize my travel dates?
A: No. Customization of travel dates will not be entertained.

• Q: Where will I collect my tickets?
A: Tickets must be collected directly from SEZ Umrah Committee Members/
Coordinators when mumineen are informed to collect only.

2. Stay & Accommodation

• Q: How many days will I stay in Makkah and Madinah?
A: Tentatively: 5 days in Makkah initially, 3–4 days in Madinah, and the remaining
days back in Makkah.

• Q: Are male and female rooms separate?
A: Yes. Ladies’ and gents’ rooms are separate as per Nizam.

• Q: How many people will share a room?
A: Rooms will typically be shared by 4 to 8 people, depending on size and group
arrangements.

3. Flights & Visa

• Q: Will flights be direct or connecting?
A: Flights will be via Dubai, Mumineen will be informed about their travel itineraries shortly

• Q: When will tickets and visas be issued?
A: When Tickets & Visas are processed, Mumineen will be informed to collect when Shababul Eidiz Zahabi – Colombo receives those.

4. Documents & Requirements

Registeration may be cancelled in case of delay in document submission.)

• Q: What documents are required?
A:
1. Passport with minimum 8 months validity (valid till at least 20 August 2026).
2. Two photos (4×6 cm, light blue background). Mardo must be in Libaas ul Anwar; Muminaat with head and hair covered.

5. Safai Chitti

• Munimeen are required to clear all their Anjuman Due’s before the 30th of September and obtain their Safai Chitti’s

•Q: Can I get tickets & Visas to buy Foreign Currency?
A: No, Mumineen will be informed to collect when Shababul Eidiz Zahabi – Colombo receives these documents.

6. Hadaya
• Q: What hadya will be given this year?
A:

Muminaat Behno:
➢ 3 Rida Set; 1 Umrah rida (white) & 2 Haram Rida (color)
Mumineen Mardo:
➢ 1 Ehraam

7. General Rules
• Q: Is Mehram mandatory for travel?
A: No. Mehram is not compulsory for this Umrah trip.

• Q: What about elderly travelers or those needing assistance?
A: Elderly or wheelchair-bound Mumineen cannot perform Umrah on the bridge (outside the Haram). Elderly travelers must be accompanied by a family member or helper.

• Q: What are the important things I need to know before travelling?
A: Mumineen will be shared all important details and checklists on WhatsApp
groups soon.

• Q: When is the tafheem Barnamaj?
A: Tafheem barnamaj is to be held on 30th of September 2025/ 8th Rabi ul Akhir –
after magrib, in masjid premises.

8. Niyaz, Darees and other Khidmats

• 100/- Sar Niyaaz Thaal,
• 300/- Sar Shitabi Thaal
• Darees is subject to Total Thaals.

9. Laundry Service

• Washing Machines will be available for use, Mumineen can use them as per their
convenience
