On August 11th, a group of 20 adventurers set out on the Pekoe Trail from Galaha to Hanthana at 5 AM. The trek was challenging, with steep paths that tested everyone’s endurance. Despite the difficulty, the group remained motivated and supported each other throughout.

The cloudy weather and lush greenery made the trail’s natural beauty stand out, with mist-covered hills and valleys offering stunning views. A cool breeze and the fresh scent of the earth added to the experience.

A key stop was the Ceylon Tea Museum, where the group learned about Sri Lanka’s tea history, adding an educational element to the trek.

The group returned after Maghrib, feeling accomplished. The Pekoe Trail was a memorable experience, combining physical challenge with beautiful scenery and a sense of camaraderie.
