On the 26th and 27th of November, Shababul Eidiz Zahabi (Colombo) organized the Bohra Business Expo 2022
at the Havelock City Hall, from 10am- 9pm.
The campaign kickstarted with a grooming session for all vendors on the basics of marketing, finance and branding for their respective businesses which was conducted by professionals from different fields.
Janab Amil Saheb Ibrahim bhai Saheb Zaini and Sri Lankan cricketing legend Mahela Jayawardene launched the Expo as chief guests at the opening ceremony.
The expo was also graced by many notable personalities over the weekend.
The event provided an opportunity for attendees to network with potential business stakeholders and collaborators while it also provided a platform
for home based entrepreneurs to expand their wings.
Products were sold at generous discounts to all attendees, along with gratifications and giveaways.
More than 30+ vendors were present as a wide variety of products and services were on display ranging from desserts, condiments, garments & accessories, household goods, beauty & personal care,
electronics, software solutions, sports equipment, and education.
A novel initiative in this edition of the Bohra Business Expo was the “Made in Sri Lanka Pavilion” booth, which was the largest singular booth at the expo.
It showcased over 20+ Mumineen businesses that exhibited their products that are manufactured in Sri Lanka for export and domestic use.
These businesses ranged from traditional exports such as tea, to books authored by Sri Lankans.
The Expo team is grateful for the immense support received from everyone, we look forward with more enthusiasm and a bigger appetite to scale the event further, InshaAllah.
