The Shababul Eidiz Zahabi (SEZ) Milad Carnival took place on the 10th and 11th of January (22mi and 23mi Rajab ul Asab 1447H) at the Henry Pedris Grounds, commemorating the blessed occasion of our beloved Aqa Maula’s (TUS) Milad.

Across two vibrant days, the grounds were filled with life and laughter as over 1500 Mumineen gathered to celebrate together. Families and friends from across the city came together, creating an atmosphere that was both festive and heartfelt, reflecting the true spirit of unity within the community.

The carnival featured a wide range of entertainment for all age groups, with exciting rides, engaging game stalls, and a variety of food and juice stalls that kept everyone delighted throughout the event. This year, Mumineen got to experience a brand new ride, the Sky Diver, which quickly became a crowd favourite and added an extra dose of thrill and excitement to the carnival.

Adding to the celebrations, a Talent Show was held on Day 1, while Day 2 featured a Magic Show that brought smiles and amazement to both children and adults, making it a memorable experience for all who attended.

On Sunday, a spell of rain briefly interrupted the festivities, but it did little to dampen the spirit of the Mumineen. Many embraced the moment and enjoyed the showers, and once the rain eased, the celebrations resumed with the same energy and enthusiasm, continuing late into the night.

The SEZ Milad Carnival was more than just an event. It was a celebration of togetherness, resilience, and shared happiness under the guidance and love of our Maula (TUS). The laughter of children, the joy of families, and the collective spirit of the community turned the grounds into a space filled with cherished memories.

SEZ extends its sincere gratitude to all sponsors, stallholders, volunteers, and Mumineen who contributed towards making this carnival a success. Your support and participation played a vital role in bringing this celebration to life.

As we look back on these two wonderful days, the memories continue to warm our hearts. May Allah grant our beloved Aqa Maula (TUS) a long life filled with health and strength, Ameen. We look forward to many more such celebrations in the years to come, InshaAllah.
