The SEZ Adventure Club took thrill-seekers on an unforgettable scuba diving journey, exploring the mesmerizing depths of the Lord Nelson Reef in Unawatuna. On the 18th of January, seven eager adventurers embarked on this underwater expedition, discovering the breathtaking marine life beneath the waves.

The day kicked off with a scenic journey to Unawatuna, followed by a comprehensive on-land training session to familiarize participants with scuba diving basics. A shallow water training session then helped them acclimatize before taking the plunge into the vast Indian Ocean.

Once beneath the surface, divers were treated to a spectacular show of marine life—colorful fish darting between coral formations, graceful rays gliding through the waters, turtles drifting serenely, and even a surprise encounter with an octopus.

After an exhilarating dive, participants enjoyed a hearty lunch, reminiscing about their underwater adventure before heading back to Colombo. It was truly a day of discovery, excitement, and awe, leaving everyone with incredible memories and stunning underwater photographs to cherish.
